I appreciate the quick response from Marsha Gunderson, Consultant for Audiology, Deaf and Hard of Hearing at the Iowa Department of Education and Iowa School for the Deaf. I emailed some information to Ms. Gunderson and she responded by informing me that she is going to share my strategies with her colleagues. Ms. Gunderson, like so many people who I have meet and/ or corresponded with over the past 3-4 years, has helped me get my teaching strategies outside of my classroom walls. As a result of her help, I hope to be given the opportunity to help many students all the way from Georgia!

I just received confirmation from Deana Bohannon, Regional Coordinator of Parent to Parent of Georgia, that my demonstration will be 2:00- 4;00 on July 20th at the Sara Hightower Library in Rome, Georgia. Please RSVP as soon as possible by sending me an email or calling 706-506-8411. I hope to see you there!

Based on the feedback I received at the 2017 Texas Assistive Technology Network Conference, I am planning to return to Texas during the week of October 2-6. Contact your administrators and/ or specialists at the Texas Education Service Center in your area to coordinate a demonstration. Please follow the “Latest News” tab for updated information regarding demonstrations near you. See you in a couple of months!
