I had my proposal to demonstrate my math strategies at the 2020 Leading Through Digital Innovation Conference on July 16th at Region 4 Education Service Center in Houston, TX accepted! Due to COVID-19, this conference will be held virtually, and it will be my third demonstration at Region 4 ESC in last 3-4 years.
I am looking forward to the opportunity to help many students in Texas during the 2020-21 school year! See you virtually on July 16th!

Due to the COViD-19, we had to have four three- hour virtual math workshops rather than traditional face-to-face workshops at the Alabama regional in-service centers this month. I was really impressed with their interest and giving up some of their summer vacation time to learn new math strategies. One teacher even participated in the workshop at the beach…. talking about dedication! I also enjoyed meeting virtually with the staff at MonTECH in Missoula, MT.
Based on the feedback that I received, I anticipate helping many students during the 2020-21 school year!
