Dr. Katie Thompson, Coordinator of Professional Learning and Innovative Programs at West Georgia RESA, sent me a notification email that my proposal to demonstrate my teaching strategies at their 2016 Georgia RESA Intervention Conference in Grantville, GA has been accepted. I should receive the exact date and time in about 1-2 weeks. Please check my “Latest News” for specific conference information when it becomes available.
I just finalized the contract with Region 4 Texas ESC to do a demonstration at Region 4 Texas ESC in Houston on December 2nd at 1:00-4:00. I was just informed by Julie Tourney, Instructional Technology Specialist at FDLRS/Emerald Coast in Pensacola, FL, that my teaching strategies were highlighted in their “October 2016 Tip of the Month- Tools to Support Math”. I am very appreciative of her time and willingness to share my teaching strategies with her colleagues in Florida.
I mentioned to her that if FDLRS is interested in scheduling a demonstration to give me a call or send a quick email! I hope we can schedule something soon!
I would like to thank Clayton Guffey, Senior Assistive Technology Specialist at the Arizona Technology Access Program, for helping coordinate my demonstration. I am looking forward to helping many students in the Phoenix area!

I would like to thank Dawn Craft, Project Administrator and Liaison for the Arizona Association for the Education of Young Children, for offering to share my teaching strategies with the AzAEYC State Governing Board and her colleagues who would be interested in new math instructional strategies. Based on the feedback I have received from many teachers and administrators in Arizona, I am anticipating exciting demonstrations in Tucson and Phoenix during the week of October 3-7. I sent an invitation to Carolyn Calvo, Executive Director of Florida Hands and Voices, to see my math demonstrations at the 2016 Florida Association for the Education of Young Children’s Conference in Orlando on September 23rd & 24th. I am very grateful to hear that she forwarded my teaching strategies to her colleagues in many parts of Florida.
