I hope everyone has had a great summer! I am currently scheduling face-to-face and virtual demonstrations and workshops during the 2022-23 school. Get with your colleagues and let me know when I can help your students!

This summer has been very productive in regard to the potential to help struggling students with math. I have had the opportunity to do a virtual state-wide demonstration with the Mississippi Hearing Project in May 3rd, a three-hour workshop at Crowley’s Ridge Education Cooperative on June 6th in Harrisburg, AR, and a two-hour workshop on June 7th at ICAN in Little Rock, AR. I also had great sessions at the 2022 Making Connections Conference on June 8th and a virtual session at the 2022 Inclusive Practices Conference in Houston, TX. On June 23rd, I did a session at the 2022 Delta Area Association for the Improvement of Schools in Cleveland, MS.

In between my conference sessions and workshops, I shared my strategies with administrators in many parts of Arkansas, Mississippi, and Alabama.

My next major demonstration is at the 2022 Conference for the Advancement of Mathematics Teaching in San Antonio, TX. This is going to be a great way to end my summer! My school district, Rome City Schools in Rome, GA, will begin the 2022-23 school year on July 25th.

I am currently scheduling demonstrations and workshops and after school, during my district’s breaks and holidays, and three personal days this school year. Many consider this to be crazy and a lot of work due to the time and expense involved. Because I believe in what I am doing, this does not bother me at all. Contact me if you need anything!
